【摘要】宽带网业务的快速发展给运营商的网络承载能力提出了更高的需求，但是近年来各类网络应用的增长对网络负荷带来很大压力。为了保证服务质量的稳定，充分发挥网络设备的承载能力，最大限度降低成本，需要不断优化网络传输性能。本文针对基于DOCSIS体系的宽带网络，就网络效率降低的原因进行分析，并介绍了部分应用于网络优化技术的原理及典型应用。

【Abstract】The rapid development of broadband access services consumes the CATV broadband network resources soon. Network congestion is a challenge for the ISP.The importance of a proper optimize network performance in maintaining the quality of service should not be disregarded. In this paper we narrate the causation of network congestion and discusses the relevant technologies and their applications.
