ICTC Rename Notice

ICTC Organizing Committee

International CATV Technology Conference（ICTC）has been held annually for 15 years since 1992. Under the guidance of the State Administration of Radio, Film and TV (SARFT) and the leadership of China Radio and TV Society as well as the support of all radio and TV authorities, manufacturers and experts, ICTC has developed rapidly and is considered as the most influential international conference in cable TV field in China and one of the most important technology exchange platforms.

In recent years, with the rapid development of technology and industry itself, the content of ICTC has already exceeded cable TV field, expanding from cable TV to the whole transmission and coverage field, from technology to operation management. To fit the development trend, through discussion, it has been decided that from 2008 “International CATV Technology Conference” will be renamed as “International Coverage and Transmission Conference” and its abbreviation-ICTC remains the same.

ICTC, after the rename, will be more suitable for the development trend of the digitalization and industrialization of radio and TV and for the network convergence. We’d also like to take this opportunity to extend our gratitude to all of your support. Let’s work together for a better ICTC and make great contribution to China radio and TV industry.
