International CATV
Technology Conference (ICTC), which was first held in
1992, is arranged in the middle of October every year in Hangzhou ,
Zhejiang since '94ICTC. This conference, with
an increase in delegates which
reached to thousand in 1997, has become
the most influential event in
the CATV industry.
ICTC is one of the
two CATV events supported and endorsed by
State Administration of Radio, Film and TV.
it is organized by Technical Research Committee, Radio &
TV Society, Zhejiang Radio and TV Broadcast-ing Bureau, and
International Cable TV information.The honorable chairman and
chairman of the conference are the high-level officials of the State
Administration of Radio, Film and TV.
ICTC is
held with several forms: keynote speeches, scientific
sessions, seminars and round-table discussions. In
the past few conferences, high officials of the State Administration
of Radio, Film and TV were invited to give keynote speeches on the
policies for the development of CATV in China, and international
experts were invited to give lectures on the international CATC
development and its prospect. At the same time, the senior
executives from the provincial CATV stations introduced effective
experience; domestic and overseas experts provided papers, and held
scientific sessions, discussing the hotspot of the CATV technology
under an active atmosphere. During the session of the conference,
relative equipment exhibitions were also conducted. The anthology of
the papers from the experts has become an important material for the
CATV industry. In '99ICTC, CATV Outstanding Contribution Award was
held in respect of those who have made prominent contributions for
the development of China's CATV industry. |
